At the turn of the year, the amount of low-carbon generation in the energy mix broke records (again), hitting 87.6% of the total. But if the wind isn't getting more expensive, why is the price of energy for consumers higher than it has ever been? Why is it that it hits the poorest the hardest? Can we not club together to find a solution?

This blog post represents an opportunity for Scene to take stock of this change, and to reflect on the lessons provided to the company throughout this recent period largely defined by uncertainty. The piece also serves as a canvas for Scene’s future development - what are the social, environmental, and commercial needs that the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed, and how will Scene continue to deliver its environmental and social impacts in a post-COVID world?
